Yup Dyingyoung ang alias nya he was 18 years old when he was diagnosed he has HIV and he was a nursing student pa. Now he is one of the best advocate of HIV prevention in the country. Hahahaha! Can you update me about the tel number? I wanted to have a test also, since Dec, when i found out that my bf that time was having a lot of girls. lately i am diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis and currently taking medication. Natatakot ako, i read at the net that high risk n yung tao to get an HIV if she had BV.
I also think that this is the right time to have a test, since it was already six mos from the last time that i had unprotected sex.

Hello everyone, especially E. you dont know me but ive been reading your blogs lately because Im so paranoid about having this disease.I've been unproductive for the past weeks since the HIV scare, and I was really thinking that I'm positive. I couldnt concentrate to work, worse i was keeping myself from social gatherings because I couldnt help but think about " WHAT IFS".
to make the long story short i followed E's advises and I had myself tested this morning. the result was out in 10 minutes, and i was ecstatic to know that I am Negative.
I promised God that I will take care of myself more, and I will help in spreading not the disease, but the education about HIV/AIDS.
I salute people like you who selflessly dedicate their remaining days in this world by helping others.

Higuys! i've had my HIV/AIDS test last MAy 30, 2011 at Social Hygiene Clinic, MHD. The result is non-reactive(negative. I thank & praise GOD for the 2nd lease at life. With my promiscuous, risky sexual liaisons in the past, it almost is a miracle not to contract the disease. For all those who are asking if the test is available for free still, obviously it is. In 15 minutes you will know the result. Guys do not prolong the agony. Its not woth your time & life. Go out & be tested. GOD bless

i understand how everybody feels, i myself got scared while reading all of these stories and experiences and anxiety is very contagious. i have also this feeling of having this (i hope wala) kasi kawawa naman un taong pinakasalan ko and we are planning to go abroad together and as per requirement we have to undergo a medical testing which includes HIV test, and this part i want to know prior to the testing with my husband in the agency's accredited hospital...i just don't know what to do...like others, they want to undergo testing to answer their questions but doesn't have the nerve to face the result. Hi guys, nagkaron ako ng minor gonorrhea and I keep on reading articles about it and then I found out na may possibility na magkaron ka ng hiv. So syempre isip ng isip at takot kasi bigla akong nagkaron ng thrush,rashes, muscle and joint pain at unexplainable na pagdami ng pimples sa mukha na hindi naman normal sakin etc nung mga panahon na yun kung ako ang tatanungin I can say na "HIV+ AKO". Ayun halos napabayaan ko na ang studies ko dahil sa threat ng hiv. Hindi narin ako makatulog ng maayos and I feel so depressed and stressed everyday. Until one day I decided na magpa test. I said to myself na "kung ano man ang magiging result eto na yun wala ng mababago ang kailangan nalang harapin" kasi that time talagang hirap na hirap na ko and natatakot na if ever meron ako ayokong madamay pa yung partner ko. It takes 2 to 3 days to see the result and thank God the result is non-reactive or negative.
Moral Lesson: Dont afraid to take the risk of taking the hiv-test everything is confidential doctor-patient relation. Kasi mas mahirap pag pati inosenteng partner mo nadamay dahil sayo and for sure if you love your partner ayaw mong mahawa sya.
Tandaan natin na if ever HIV+ ang lumabas andyan na yan. Ang kailangan nalang gawin ay tibayan ang loob mo enjoy yourself, enjoy every minute of your life and always pray to God.
Last thing that I want to share is the contact number of the head nurse in PGH na nakuha ko sa net :)
I hope na makatulong to sa inyo guys pwede kayo magtanong sa kanya kung pano ang process ng pagpapatest dont worry kasi hindi naman mahal ang testing fee.

This is what the doctor said to me when I ask the same question that you are asking right now.
"Any symptoms will not be an assurance that you have HIV but the best thing to do is to wait until you reached the window period (3 to 6 months after the last suspected hiv encounter) and take the risk of taking the hiv-test"
it is proven kasi some symptoms of hiv ay pwede mo rin makuha dahil sa sobrang stress na dala ng pagiisip mo.

i was just like everyone who had so much anxiety the past 2 days and it had not made me sleep for 2 days and it feels like i have all the symptons until the time i even talk to my family that i would have an hiv test too, and my family was all so supportive with me as they say whatever the results maybe they would still love me and just yesterday i had the chance to go to national science clinic and they have been all very accomodating and caring with all the people coming in and i couldnt help crying too all the time i was there...and when the resulys was handed to me i couldnt help to cry too coz i was negative and it was such a feeling of relief...Kaya guys you really have to face your fears and dont be afraid as GOd loves us...the agony and paranoia could kill you more than HIV itself so if you suspect or had unprotected sex too its time for you to take the test and no matter what the results will be you still hav reasons to live..your family and all the persons who love you so GET TESTED as soon as possible...LOve you life and dont be afraid...i was once like that so paranoid and all but now im starting my second life brand new...no worries and anxiety be positive guys pray to GOD and he would guide you along your way to getting tested...Be safe everyone..

Just went to Medical City yesterday to see my EENT doctor because of my recurring sore throat which is one of the symptom of HIV and i have this paranoia na baka im positive. I also went to a dermatologist to check yung mga rashes ko sa kamay at paa and she straight forward ask me questions about my sex life and sabi nya secondary syphilis, i was so shocked and lalo akong kinabahan na baka im positive ngaun i cant sleep and sobrang napaparanoid na ako. Di ko na ginamit yung healthcard ko andi pay for the consultation dahil sabi nya she needs to disclose yung diagnosis sa akin. Di na din ako nakapasok sa work sa sobrang pag aalala. Im planning to have myself check later, reading your stories give me strenght to face my fear and feel that i am not alone! Thy will be done... Guys, If you suspect that you have HIV,please see a doctor or be tested right away. nangyari na sakin yung ganyan,minsan paranoid ka at hindi makatulog. I had some symptoms like chills,rashes sa palms and feet and swollen lymph nodes.After a month hindi ko na kinaya ang stress and sobrang namayat ako(Onga pala, I had unprotected sex last December). kaya naparanoid ako kasi ang window perios is 3-6months during the last intercourse (unprotected).kaya ayun,I've decided to see Pasay City Social Hygiene Clinic sa Municipality ng Pasay(btw,they will give you pre-post counselling)after extracting blood from me i was told to wait for 30 minutes for the result,ayun na ata ang pinakamatagal na 30 minutes sa buhay ko. So I went back after 30 minutes tapos parang malungkot yung medtech (si Ate na medyo chubby :)) tapos pinaupo ako para si Doktora daw ang magbigay ng result,s--t! kinakabahan talaga ako and naluluha na ako and then Doktora handed me the envelop and sabi na I should open it daw...Thank God and Non-Reactive yung result both for HIV test and Syphillis. sobrang nag thank you talaga ako ke God kasi b inigyan nya ako ng panibagong buhay.
